Andrew I. Buck D.M.D.
I am a third generation oral surgeon. My grandfather started this practice in 1957, and my father joined him after completion of his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 1992. It has always been a dream of mine growing up to carry on that legacy and tradition, and I am now fortunate to join both my father and my brother-in-law at Buck and Phillips Oral Surgery. I grew up in the Birmingham area going through the Oak Mountain school system. I spent 10 years away from Birmingham while in dental school and residency that took us to Arizona and New York. It has been an amazing journey, but we are delighted to be back home in the great state of Alabama. I’m married to the most amazing woman, Teala, and God has blessed us with two amazing children. Although I am a fallible human, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I am doing my best to live a life worthy of His grace and sacrifice.
Credentials:
I attended the University of Alabama, Capernwray Bible School in Lancashire, England, and finished my undergraduate career at the University of Alabama in Birmingham where I received a Bachelor of Science. After dental school, I completed a one-year internship and a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.
